Fulla is a fashion doll created for & marketed specifically to countries with a considerable Muslim population. Notice she has dark hair & eyes & her outfit is in line with Islam’s guidelines regarding manner of dress. The company that makes her also sells Burqas & Abayas separately. As Fulla is roughly the same size as Barbie, these would fit Mattel dolls of that line.

She is often referred to as “Muslim Barbie”, but that is inaccurate, as ‘Barbie’ is a trademark of Mattel & not only does Fulla have her own name, she is made by a completely different company.

I just realised that FYDOC is, like, 14 months old, so I’ve re-queued some of my favorite posts from the first few months of its existence.

When I was in Saudi, I saw tons of these. They even make a Fulla abaya for little girls with the logo on it.

Kaya (Maiki) is mine, but the #4 (her name is Inky) belongs to a good friend. Yeah, she was the only one with the distinct Asian mould, but she’s no longer available. They have the new Asian mould out now (Jess, Ivy, Kanani), but it’s not distinct like #4. It’s really a shame they got rid of her.

Yeah, I’m on week two and I love it. Just today, I was just waiting for my mom to get ready and decided to do some of the harder leg lifting moves from the video out of sheer boredom. They used to make me fall over and/or make my muscles burn, but my butt and thighs are so toned now that I was holding my leg up like it was nothing. My butt is also more lifted. I’m really excited to see my before and after pictures.

It’s definitely not an easy workout, but I totally recommend it. I feel good.

So, I talked to my doctor about lowering my medication, and he doesn’t want to. Eventually, I would like to get off these drugs, but I hate how medical doctors seem to want to keep you doped up. I’m only 31. Do they expect me to stay on meds for the rest of my life? And then they wonder why bipolars have such a high suicide rate. It’s not really living is it?
